Overview
Victoria Park will become the iconic home of Brisbane’s new oval stadium. Located centrally in the heart of Brisbane and adjacent to the new National Aquatic Centre, Brisbane Stadium will be a world-class venue and precinct that showcases the city on the global stage.
Brisbane Stadium will have capacity for 63,000 spectators, and up to 70,000 for concerts, helping attract the world’s biggest superstars.
The new stadium will deliver lasting community and economic benefits, supporting Queensland’s bold vision to attract the best sporting events and blockbuster concerts.
In legacy mode, the stadium will host AFL and cricket, with the Brisbane Lions, Brisbane Heat, and Queensland Bulls all calling the stadium home.

With a legacy capacity of 63,000 and up to 70,000 for concerts, the new stadium will serve as Brisbane’s future home of major sporting and entertainment events.

Brisbane Stadium will have exceptional connectivity to nearby existing and planned transport, such as Cross River Rail and Brisbane Metro stations, the busway network, major roads and other rail stations.
The new stadium will be designed to meet best practice Universal Design principles to ensure everyone can enjoy the sports and events on offer.
Additional space and athlete warm-up areas needed for the Games could be transformed into community-accessible spaces and essential stadium assets like practice nets and a wicket nursery that are required for first-class cricket.
Co-located with the new National Aquatic Centre and nearby athlete village, the stadium’s strategic location within a master-planned park will integrate with existing rail and bus transport connections to ensure easy access for athletes and spectators.
