Graphic promoting Invitation for Prequalification for the Brisbane Stadium Delivery Contractor
In short

National and international contractors with experience delivering major stadiums and large-scale infrastructure projects have been invited to lodge for prequalification as GIICA moves forward with building the new Brisbane Stadium.

The Invitation for Prequalification (IFP) for the Brisbane Stadium Delivery Contractor is open until 5pm AEST, Friday 7 November 2025. Successful companies from the IFP will then take part in the Invitation to Offer to secure one of two Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) roles.

The Brisbane Stadium will host the opening and closing ceremonies and athletics in 2032, before becoming the city’s main stadium in legacy mode with 63,000 seats, and a showcase venue for AFL and cricket after the Games.

Set in Victoria Park, Brisbane Stadium will become the city’s major venue for global sporting events and international concerts.

Early Contractor Involvement engages two construction companies early in the design process to each work collaboratively with GIICA to refine the design and deliver value for money.
