National Aquatic Centre procurement dives off the starting blocks with call for Delivery Contractor

National and international contractors with large-scale infrastructure experience have been invited to lodge for prequalification for the build of the new National Aquatic Centre.
The Invitation for Prequalification (IFP) for the National Aquatic Centre Delivery Contractor is open until 5pm AEST, Wednesday 25 February 2026. Successful companies from the IFP will then take part in the Invitation to Offer to secure one of two Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) roles.
Set in Victoria Park, the National Aquatic Centre is set to host a number of 2032 Games events including swimming, diving, water polo and artistic swimming.
With a games venue capacity of more than 25,000 seats and a legacy capacity of 8,000 seats, the National Aquatic Centre will make Brisbane Australia's aquatic sport epicentre celebrating the sunshine state’s love of swimming.
