Toowoomba’s equestrian heritage will be further enriched thanks to an upgrade of the Toowoomba Equestrian Centre at the Royal Toowoomba Showgrounds. 

The centre is one of Queensland’s largest indoor equestrian centres. 

Improvements to the facility ahead of the Games include additional arenas and warm-up facilities, additional and upgraded stables, new amenities and change facilities, as well as an upgraded and lengthened cross country course.  The lasting infrastructure legacy with deliver greater regional benefits with increased tourism, business opportunities and more jobs.
