GIICA is working with our Games Delivery Partners to progress the Project Validation Report which will be provided to the Queensland and Australian Governments to support an investment decision.
The Anna Meares Velodrome is a world-class indoor cycling facility located within the Chandler Sports Precinct which hosts a range of events including local club and national competitions.
A legacy from the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, the velodrome features a 250-metre timber track and is home to the AusCycling Brisbane office.
The velodrome can accommodate up to 1,500 spectators, expandable to 3,500 for major events. The venue will be upgraded prior to the Games to ensure it continues to deliver a premier riding and competition experience for the community and high-performance athletes.

The Anna Meares Velodrome has been earmarked to host track cycling at the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
