Social media guidelines
Why we use social media
GIICA uses social media to:
- inform you of updates and information related to the 17 new and upgraded venues GIICA is delivering ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games
- remind you of important events and construction notices that may be of interest
- link to useful information about project progression and the benefits of the Games Venue Infrastructure Program
- engage with the community as Queensland prepares for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games
- showcase the expertise of GIICA, as well as Queensland construction and design talent and innovation
- share information with Queenslanders on the channels research shows they primarily use to access news, update and make connections.
The opinions, views and ideas expressed in comments on GIICA’s social media platforms represent those of individual users and online communities and do not necessarily reflect the views of GIICA or the Queensland Government. Any official statements from GIICA will be published on the GIICA website at https://giica.au/news.
